FEATURING
FAE ALEXANDER
Fae is a singer/songwriter/actor from Robinson Superior Treaty (Thunder Bay), but has been living in Toronto since 2021. Since graduating from Sheridan College’s Musical Theatre Performance program, Fae has been a part of many new musical workshops in Toronto, and loves the creation process behind musicals. This inspired her to start work on Trading Places, an original play with music which had its first workshop performance with Superior Theatre Festival in Thunder Bay in March of 2024. Currently, Fae is focusing on creating more original music, and working to release an EP in the fall of 2024. Fae is always grateful to be home to perform, and thanks Superior Theatre Festival for having her back!
JAMIE SKY
Jamie Sky is an Ojibwe/Mi’kmaq singer/songwriter with roots in both Eagle Lake and Acadia First Nation. She has been performing original songs, as well as reimagined, acoustic versions of her favourite pop songs, since she was a child. Now with two young children of her own, Jamie hopes more than ever to create music that empowers youth to be unapologetically who they are.
CARLY MARTIN
Carly Martin is a classically trained vocalist, actor and performer from Thunder Bay, Ontario. She discovered a deep love for performing at the age of nine. Now, Carly is a recent graduate of Sheridan College where she received her Honours Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance.
Carly continues to find a sense of home in theatre and music: the community, the artistry and the palpable connection between an artist and an audience motivates and inspires her to continue telling stories and sharing her voice.
ADDITIONAL ARTISTS
WYETH MCCORMICK
Born and raised in Thunder Bay, music has always intrigued Wyeth. Wyeth found rhythm taking him to various genres where he ended up playing in different bands throughout the years. He took some time to focus on his studies at Lakehead University and Fanshawe College, but has always been brought back to music creation. As of 2022, Wyeth has been playing alongside Sara Kae in her recent musical ventures. Outside of music, Wyeth enjoys photography as a creative outlet.
CARTER FONTAINE
Carter Fontaine was always surrounded by music. With his mother teaching music in elementary schools and his father owning a music store, he was destined to carry on the love of music. He first became proficient on piano from the age of four. He then began to tackle guitar in high school. He would often teach younger students at his father’s music store.
Carter takes inspiration from musicians such as the Eagles, Paul McCartney Blue Rodeo and Neil Young. He spent most of his early years in bands, but took a short break to acquire a law degree. Carter can be found around Thunder Bay playing keys and guitar for Sara Kae and filling in for various other local bands.
